so, the premise of this was that i wanted to use this as an opportunity to betray ren if possible.
so, the way i saw it going down was that if it was me and ren and maybe like, two other people, maybe three other people
then it w– i would basically betray ren at some point, stick a knife in his back, kill him off,and then when he died, i would type in the chat, "winter is over, spring has begun",
and basically saying like, red spring had started, and that was gonna be, like, my, really, like, big finale, betrayal, this that and the otherbut as you probably know, there was a bit of a bloodbath last season, um, and it meant that i never got to... i never got to enact that.
and again! so, basically, "vanquish them all, ally with none" basically meant, uhh, get rid of anybody in the red army, and then don't ally with the new people, like, you are on a one man mission.
and this "ally with none" comes back in in the teaser for last life, which you'll see in a moment

but actually, that's quite unfair of the shadow to do to c!martyn because
i haven't been given any power, i haven't been given the boogeyman status at all
i mean, i guess i could've fought a bit more, for like, yknow, timmy, and mumbo?

and obviously, to the audience, they don't know why just yet
but through the boogeyman action, and then the grilling in episode 8, it's made it very apparent that the shadow isn't in good standing with grian, yknow what i mean?
so basically, at this point, i'm already sprinkling in some reason as to why grian isn't in good standing with the shadow and stuffand then, of course, there's the promise of bringing back all the people that c!martyn cares about

which the shadow does not like at all, the shadow is pissedso obviously the shadow is pretty pissed at scott because scott's not playing ball. scott's not doing what everybody else has done in the series and deciding to actually enact all of the boogey wishes, if you will

so, later on in the session; me acting on behalf of the shadow, decides to give scott– it's basically a test, it's a test for scott.
if scott passes the test, if he blows up this crystal, then he goes back into good standings with the shadow.
but somebody actually made a really good comparison that me and scott were basically running polar opposite narratives
i was running full dark and he was running full light, which is why this moment is so much more poignant

but it was a new challenge, and yknow what, i enjoyed it. as much as it was an effort to climb up onto like, say, the bottom shelf [laughs a bit], of a cabinet, being able to like sneak through the walls and slide under sofas? it was pretty fun!
loot count for this world was just one, although- definitely pop an extra note that this one was huge! this was like two or three times bigger than the usual shards... probably explain why the rift was so massive, too
this was definitely the first time as well that a loot shard has altered the terrain around it—not only did it make that weird cavern and tunnel, but it actually threw up a mirage wall, so i couldn't even find it the first time.
additional notes... i mean i guess the only thing i really wanna note down is the name rusty.
they seem really privy to world hopping, and happy to share than information, even with the NPCs which... is pretty dangerous. is he on our side? or theirs?
aside from rusty's claims to have world hopped, the only person i actually saw do it, with my own eyes, was that little blue moth, sneeg.
i did kick krow in as an experiment to see what would happen if an NPC dropped in there, but... i think our theory was right. unless an NPC's been awakened, they're confined to the world, as well as its ruleset. i bet doc's gonna be smug that he was right about that as well
